The
invention relates to the process of cleaning and maintaining
air ducts of Heating, Ventilation, and Air-conditioning
systems (HVAC).
People breathing harmful particles, produced by forced
air systems, for extended periods of time, are prone
to a number of pulmonary diseases and potentially
other health issues. IAQ facilitates access to forced
air ducts and remedies overdue cleaning, thereby improving
the Indoor Air Quality program of residential, institutional,
public, commercial and industrial buildings.
This invention is able to prevent a lot of suffering
at a low cost, because it is a very simple device,
easy to manufacture and later implement into any air
duct system. Also, through synergy at our Project
meetings, the device has received a major improvement,
which may contribute to it becoming the standard in
the industry.
This product is now patent-pending and available.
The Co-op has also designed a machine to produce the
product. The preferred route for higher production
would be to engage alternative workshops for the disabled
to produce and package this product.
