Ideas or inventions that meet a minimum criteria and have been submitted to the Co-op, shall be evaluated and if accepted, will be prioritized and co-operatively developed into value-added packaged inventions, ready for release with an assurance of financial return to the inventor and the Co-op. These may either be licensed out or placed into a new company or other venture for manufacturing, marketing, and sales.

How it Works:

  1. An outside inventor or Co-op member fills out the forms which are part of our Invention Submission Kit. These forms are identical for both members and non-members and can be found on our: Become a Member page under "How to Submit an Invention"

  2. The invention is evaluated and receives a score. This score is given considerable weight in making a final decision on accepting the invention.

  3. If the invention has been accepted, an Acceptance Contract shall be negotiated and signed by both the inventor and the Co-op. This contract shall set out the respective rights of both parties, as well as the issues of compensation and timing.

  4. A project team is formed and project development commences as agreed upon in the Acceptance Contract.
